The UK Costello / CFC family conference is being held at the Manchester Hilton airport hotel.  From the 29th to the 31st of October 2025.

Queen Guest Room
£135 per night 

Queen Family Guestroom with Double Sofa Bed

Two Queen Beds Family Guest Room
£165 per night

All rooms  include a great Hilton buffet breakfast.  All other meals are provided including an evening meal on Wednesday evening as well as lunch and evening meal on Thursday.  A spooky Halloween party for the whole family will take place on Thursday evening.

2025 CFC International Stephanie Kohler Scholarship Fund Application

It is CFC International’s mission to improve the quality of life for individuals with CFC syndrome and their families through family support, research, awareness, advocacy and education.  Events like the 2025 United Kingdom Family Conference are part of the important programs we offer families that assist them on their journey to care for a loved one with CFC syndrome.

2025 Conference Programme

Wednesday 29th October
Guests are invited to check-in from 2pm onwards and there will be a ‘meet and greet’ to introduce yourself to the other families

A family dinner will take place at 6pm, followed by a presentation from ‘Wings and Things’. Families will have the chance to be up close and personal with owls and other wonderful, small creatures.

After the presentation, we have some fun activities planned to help families get to know each other

Thursday 30th October

This is the main conference day with several specialist presentations. It will include 

  • Genetics
  • Dental implications
  • Endocrinology
  • Ophthalmology
  • Endocrinology
  • Cardiology
  • Orthopaedics
  • Dental manifestations
  • ENT and intubation

The evening entertainment will start with a family dinner, followed by a family Halloween party with live music and magic.  This will be a night to remember which has become a tradition at our family meetings.

Friday 31st October

We are still in the process of planning a family day out for the final day.  This is likely to be a coach trip to a place of interest where families can relax and have fun.

The running of the trip will be dependent on the number of families attending. Meals will not be provided.
